Hi Sue,

I was just surfing the net and came across your site..very nice.  Have a question about your favorite PhotoGallery.  Did you create the Flash player/movie through Flash8 and then embedded within your page or did you get that player elsewhere?  I would like to check out the code for that Flash Gallery.  I'm interested in using Flash in conjunction with .NET.

Thanks for your assistance.

不錯,很好啊

Greetings,
I wanted to take a minute to compliment you on this wonderful site.  I too am an IT professional and was trying to get my personal site up and running.  I was having SQL related problems once I transferred my site to the hosting company.  The information you provided on this site helped me tremendously and have really given me some great ideas for my own site.   Thank you so much.  You are obviously very good at what you do.

Best Regards,
Brian Landwehr

Thank you so much Sue,

I am very new to writing ASP.NET web siites and I have struggled so much to get the Web Site Live for the Charity that I Chair.  (The Friends of Birmingham Schools' Orchestras is a Parents' Association for the Parents of the 800 or so young people who are members of the Birmingham Music Service Central Ensembles.)  The Web SIte is written in MS Visual Web Developer 2005 Express and I have used Scott Mitchell's ASP.NET 2.0 in 24 Hours.

Your Blog (RecordID 115) has helped me so much today.  I have been trying to get the site LIVE for about a week now and now finally, at 7am this morning, it is there.  It still needs work but it is at least live.  Thanks to you!!!

I do have one small question and I don't know if I am allowed to post it here.  How do I modify the directory security or add users now that the site is live?  Do I have to write my own ASPX pages to do this now the site is live?  (The Hosting company does not allow access to the SQL database externally but I do have acess via a web based SQL admin utility to the SQL tables etc.)

Thanks again,

Rick
